Beautifully made with Elm wood and then painted at some stage in it's life. The paint has worn in parts and flaked to show the bare bones of its Elm frame in the most perfect way. 

Penny chairs take their name from the shape of the seat. 

Perfect occasional chair or for the corner of a room. Very comfortable and full of character.
